Description
This pattern implements many of my favorite characteristics from a handful of time tested nymphs. For example it has the shape of a mayfly, the abdomen of a zebra midge, the density of a Perdigon nymph, and can imitate a variety of different aquatic insects.
The versatility and simplicity of this nymph make it a staple in my fly box. Whether I am fishing a technical tailwater or a high mountain freestone stream this pattern gets the job done year round.
