Description

This stonefly pattern was developed and tested on many small streams right here in my home state of Utah. It took a couple of years to fine-tune the materials, but since then I have fished it all over the Western United States and found great success. Anytime there are large stoneflies present in the river system, this is my go to pattern. The key material is the net back foil which gives it a nice segmented look. I always carry with me a handful in both the dark version, and the golden version. If you find yourself fishing rivers and streams that are home to large stonefly populations, this pattern is for you.
